I don’t like caramel. It’s too sweet–too intoxicating for someone like me who only eats / drinks sweets occasionally. But I order Salted Caramel Macchiato at Starbucks anyways. Because it’s on top of the menu–the first thing you see when you glance at the menu hanging above their walls.

Apparently, Salted Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks is the only salted caramel I can tolerate. I tried ordering from other coffee shops. They were either too sweet to swallow, or too bland for something salty and caramelly. harhar.
As I sip my Salted Caramel Macchiato, questions pop out of my head.
If it’s called “Salted Caramel” does that mean it’s saltier than the regular caramel? Do they literally put salt in it? Or is there a kind of caramel with salt already in it? Which one goes first: the caramel or the salt? HAHAHAHA.
How much do you enjoy Salted Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks? Or do you not? Hoping to hear your thoughts.
