Living Life to The Fullest

…A supposed to be persuasive speech.

Life is short. We should live our lives to the fullest. And living life to the fullest would mean taking risks, making sacrifices, and saying yes to happiness.

Taking risks means doing something without knowing what the outcome is and it might be dangerous, but we still do it. It is going outside our box and doing things drastically. It is doing without having second thoughts, without questions. Living life to the fullest means taking risks as this is where adventures start to grow.

And for adventures to grow into full bloom, we need to make sacrifices. Sacrificing is making choices which helps us stay focused, but our life is much more than being focused. It means we must make some difficult decisions, like sacrificing our time with friends for the sake of finishing our projects that involves a greater group of people. It means we have to say no to things but sacrificing does not mean saying no to everything. It’s about being clear about what to say no to. Or when to say no. and not feeling remorse or regret once you say goodbye to temptations.

So, we do something drastic and we say “no” to things. What do we say “yes” to then? We say yes to happiness. We say yes to what makes us happy. But the hardest part when we talk about happiness is the sacrifice required. With it we like to follow the path of least resistance. Because we bought into the idea that being happy means we don’t deserve to suffer. But to sacrifice doesn’t necessarily mean suffering. Being happy means saying no to things that does not makes us happy and saying yes to things that does make us happy.

Living life to the fullest means we dive in the pool of adventures, we make difficult decisions, and we sacrifice for happiness. Now it depends on you as to which you will choose. Will you dive into a pool or a sea of adventures? Will you be able to make difficult decisions and sacrifice your precious possessions for happiness? And for happiness of whom? Of yourself? Or of others including you?

Take time to breath in and think about how you would live your life to the fullest.
